Thrill of the Hunt
If Thrill of the Hunt banishes and replays my only unit at a battlefield, can I score there on my opponent's turn?
No, as control of the battlefield is never lost during this sequence.
When Thrill of the Hunt resolves, the replayed unit is added to the chain as a pending item,[354.2] with its play process held until the spell has fully resolved.[354.3] Once the spell finishes resolving, a cleanup runs — but the pending unit keeps the chain alive throughout it.[330][331] Because the chain is not empty, the turn remains in a closed state, and cleanup step 4 — which would make the battlefield uncontrolled — only applies during an open state.[190.4.c][323.6] Control is never lost, so there is no opportunity to score a point.[469.1] When all outstanding tasks are complete, the pending unit is finalized[334.2][337.1] and, if its owner chooses that battlefield, replayed to the battlefield you still control.[359.2]
